Story
Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.
In 2014 I started cycling as a way to get fit as I turned 50 and originally planned to simply ride the 6 miles each way to my Tai Chi class. As it turned out realised I really enjoyed the bike and never imagined that a year later I would apply to complete a 100 mile ride.
Five years ago I was privileged to complete a 12 day trek to Base Camp Everest for charity and have been wanting to do another ever since. The Prudential Ride London may be a one day event but will be equally a great challenge to prepare for with the aim to complete in 7 hours.
I want to use the challenge as an opportunity to raise funds for WWF and their great conservation work. As custodians of the planet we owe those who come after us the opportunity to see the wonders of the world and not simply in museums.
So I hope you will support me in my 51st year to complete a great challenge and raise much need funds for the future of endangered animals.
