There is an annual challenge at my University where a bunch of people cycle all the way from Leeds to Berlin, all for charity because we're right good guys like that, and this year I have signed up to be one of those people. Anyone that knows me will know that my level of fitness means I get out of breath walking up a particularly steep flight of stairs and I haven't really been on a bike since circa 2004, so there's going to have to be a lot of work done.

I'm paying for expenses myself and so all the money raised is going directly to the charity of choice, which this year is Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust, which is pretty worthwhile. Just to highlight how much these charity are good guys (even better guys than the good guys doing the cycle challenge), they are the only charity funding research into cancers specifically affecting teens and young adults.
