Brain Tumour UK has merged with The Brain Tumour Charity to become the UK's largest dedicated brain tumour charity. We fund research and offer support and information to those affected whilst raising awareness and influencing policy.

Story

Hi Guys

When i found out i was lucky enough to participate in the London Marthon i thought long and hard about what charity to represent. I chose Brain Tumour Uk as my Uncle Jimmy has recently been diagnosed with a fast growing brain tumour.

BTUK was founded in 1997, the charity has an impressive track record of providing practical and emotional suport to brain tumour patients and their families and has a national network of grassroots supporters.

They aim to:

*Increase awareness and knowledge of brain tumours and research into the disease.

*Improve access to information and support, and enhance treatments and care.

*Raise money to fund an extensive programme of research, eduction and support.
