On July 8th 2012 in a fit of lunacy or similar I joined 143 other cyclists to cover 60 miles around the Gower peninsula in the Pedal for Parkinson's Swansea event (http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/support_us/events/cycling_events/pedal_for_parkinsons/pedal_swansea.aspx). There were a lot of hills and a lot of pain but it was a glorious day in a worthwhile cause.

So now I'm asking you to make an effort and donate to the cause. Every penny I raise will go towards funding Parkinson's nurses (http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/about_parkinsons/support_and_information/parkinsons_nurses.aspx) and each penny raised by the Pedal for Parkinson's participants will be matched by The Monument Trust.
