Both myself and a brave band of colleagues from all areas of the bank are undertaking a gruelling 24km tab over Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons. Known as the Fan Dance Challenge this is used as a yardstick for a candidates ability to perform during 'Hill Week', which forms part of the SAS selection process. The route includes 1000m of ascent, with steep inclines, loose and muddy paths, forested tracks and potentially everything the British weather can throw at you. Our aim is to collectively raise as much as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support to help with the Fabulous work they do.
