My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Oh dear, oh dear, I have signed up to cycle 413km across Sri Lanka in February 2012 to raise funds for MAG (Mines Advisory Group), a humanitarian organisation that clears landmines for the benefit of communities worldwide. MAG is working in Sri Lanka where the civil war left large areas uninhabitable; thousands of people remain in displacement camps, unable to return home until the mines are cleared.
Sri Lankans are wonderful, optimistic and cricket-mad people, and I want to help them. I've promised to raise £3,000 (eek), so, although it seems a long way off, please sponsor me and I'll get on my bike... Happy days, thank you X
