Hi there. I HAVE JUST REN THE 10K AND FINISHED IN 52 MINUTES 30 SEC!!!! HOWSAT!!!As most of you may know when in Sri Lanka last Feb I was adopted by a beach dog that I called Foxy. She was in a terrible state, half starving and was constantly being attacked by other dogs.She had had at least 10 litters and was at least 12 years old. Animal SOS was coming to the area and I learnt that they Spey stray dogs, especially bitches, so I took her there for the op. Now as you can see from the most recent photos she gets along well with the other dogs, as she is no longer a threat. Anyhow I could go on… but basically I am doing a charity run to raise funds for this extraordinary charity who do a terrific job in pain relief, easing of suffering and re-homing dogs. I will also be doing a few days volunteering work whilst there in early November at their animal sanctuary. To raise money I am doing a 10k run on the 7th October and aim to do it in under 1 hour (that’s 10kmp a km) which is quite tough.!!! I have a mentor Andrew who has all the gadgets and can time me etc. I aim to go over Hammersmith and Chiswick bridges in a loop which is about 11k. Please could you sponsor me I would really appreciate it. I have raised over £260.00 so far in cash and hope to achieve £700+ Much love to all. Stephan, Foxy and all at Animal SOS
NB : In speaking to the charity I discovered that its been set up by an english woman called Kim and every penny raised gets plouged back into helping animals. (No fat cat directors etc...)
