Well, the run has finished for another year! This year was less painful though I have ended up with the same blood blisters plus an extra purple toenail which is slowly unhinging itself!!! Many thanks to the sisters for coming down to cheer me on; the poster urging me to run faster to get to the post-race roast dinner did the trick!!!

There is still time to donate. I ran the half this year for the same charity as last year - Health Unlimited. This charity provides health services to remote and war torn communities where aid is otherwise unavailable. After the run last year I attended an event for this charity where I got to meet some of the Cambodian managerial staff - they're doing great things with their nutrition program and I will be meeting up with them again in a few weeks to hear how things are progressing. Always good to see where the money is going.
