Those of you who know me well, will know that I have never been the sportiest of people. But I have always wanted to run the London Marathon. I think this is probably some kind of mid-life crisis but if you will all bear with me, I promise I won't come up with any other crazy ideas. 

Clic Sargent is a wonderful charity that provides nurses for children with cancer. I really wanted to support a cancer charity to remember my father Michael Norbury, who died of cancer (among other things). But I also wanted to support a children's charity because I think that having a sick child is particularly awful. The bravery of families such as my friends the Stotts who lost their child Dylan to Meningitis takes my breath away...
