Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I've finally got round to setting it up as I'd like you to sponsor me for my attempt at running the Run to the Beat half marathon. So far the training has been a slow process but I'm almost there and starting to look forward to the day...and getting it over and done with!

I chose the Cambodian Children's charity as one of the major highlights when I was travelling was visiting an orphanage in Phnom Penh. The kids there seemed so happy however it was heart breaking to see where they live and sleep, and to hear the stories for why some of kids were there was so sad. Many of the children in Cambodia live in poverty and those who aren't lucky enough to be placed in an orphanage end up living as street kids. This charity aims to provide direct aid to poor children in Cambodia with the provision of nutritional, medical and educational support, healthcare advice and vocational skills as well as support for families that have been affected by illness or disease.
