Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen to run for BT Buddies following my twin sisters diagnosis of a grade four Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumour. The charity supports not only brain tumour patients, but their carers and relatives too, and like many others I have found this to be a massive support. The online forum gives people an oppurtunity to share their experiences with each other and you can connect with others in a similar situation. However I feel this forum is different to others - the people actually care. I find this charity incredibly personable and I know how much strength my sister has found through chatting to like minded people, and for that i will be forever grateful.

I have decided to call my challenge 'Running for Research' becasue that is exactly what I intend to do! I will be running a list of events over the next twelve months to try and raise funds and awareness. Others in the same situation as myself would no doubt agree not enough is done to fund research in to this type of cancer,and with limited treatment options I feel it is up to us to make a difference!

So, please support me on my challenge, as I run for research!

Asics Arden 9 19th June 2011

Monday 20th June 2011 - Well it's the morning after my Asics 9 mile run. I'm not feeling too sore today and am very proud to say I completed the course in 1 hour and 41 minutes! I am very pleased with this result, and it was such an honour to run on behalf of this charity. I have had so much support I can't say thank you enough. Can't wait for the next run! :)

Lilleshall Monumental 10K 25th March 2012

Best get them trainers back out!!!!26/03/2012 - Well that was a tough one! I am very sore today but was well worth it! Very pleasant course but those hills took it out of me! My twin was able to be there at the finish line so all is good :) got the running bug now off to book the next one.....!
