Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 18th of April 2010 i will be running the Brighton Marathon for the Sussex Multiple Sclerosis Treatment Centre.

Multiple Sclerosis, MS, is a disease which affects the nervous system. As yet we do not know how to cure MS but extensive research is being done on its cause and treatment.

Meanwhile, those affected have to come to terms with their situation, and find ways in which to cope with lifestyles that may have radically changed.

At the Sussex MS centre we understand the worry, confusion, uncertainty and anger that people may feel when they are told they have MS. Contact with others in the same position can help them cope with these emotions.
