The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK and Ireland's only charity dedicated to providing specialist support to all those affected by multiple system atrophy (MSA); a life-limiting neurodegenerative condition. We rely entirely on voluntary donations to provide our free support services.

Here's to the Bristol Tri in 5 weeks time! Hope it won't be as hot as the last one.

So - for those of you I have not seen/told I finished my triathlon in 1:29:40 and I feel a sense of achievement. BUT this is not really about me, it's about raising funds for the MSA Trust. I am currently just short of my target so will keep this page open a while longer. The quickest way to donate is to text TRIA 75 to 70070. If you do not know what MSA is and why I chose this charity you can find out by visiting my justgiving page.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

4 days to go till my first triathlon. I need a bit of extra motivation, particularly on the run and what better way than to run for someone else.

So, I stopped off at David McCormick's on the way back from one of my training rides. For those of you who do not know him, David is living with MSA so I asked if I might run for the Multiple System Atrophy Trust and he agreed willingly.

MSA is a rare progressive neurological disease, which means that unfortunately symptoms are likely to worsen over a period of time. In due course the need to rely on others for help may arise. The speed of these changes is difficult to predict as people with MSA experience the disease differently and the rate of progression varies. There is no known cure.

Please click through to their website to find out more.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks,

Steve
