On 20th June 2015 I am taking on the ' 3 Peaks Challenge ' as part of a team of 6 friends. 

The National Three Peaks Challenge is a well known phrase amongst the more adventurous. This challenge involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.

So where do I start, well I was sat in the pub one day when Darren said to me do you fancy joining us on the 3 peaks challenge to which my response was no way but here we are with just 3 weeks to go.

Even though I have completed a number of walks over the years I have never taken on such a big challenge as this so wish me good luck !!!

My chosen charity is Dementia UK in which many peoples lives are affected.Both mine and my Partner ( Claire ) have lost our grandparents to this disease and we would like to continue to support to this charity and to raise awareness.
