My name is Stephen Collins.

On October 17th 2011, i am commencing a 7 day sponsored hitch hike around the UK.

This is to raise money for a little girl who lives in the England who has cerebal palsy and is unable to walk. Her name is Grace Windram and she is only 5 years old. Grace has the chance of an operation in the U.S. that could see her walk for the first time. Initially with a walking fr...ame and possibly leading to Grace walking short distances independently, making Grace's dream of walking a reality. This operation and other related expenses comes to a total of £50,000.

If you are reading this and you are a parent, allow me to ask 1 question:

How did it feel when you watched your child take its very first steps? Let me guess, Happy and proud, maybe a little emotional.

Well, Grace has never even taken a single step because of her condition. Imagine how her parents will feel when Grace takes her first steps then.
