August 12th update
We're just back from our camping holiday in the west of Scotland - rather wet and wild for much of it (the weather, that is, not us), but I did find one nice day to do the ride: Wed 3rd August was clear and bright, so that's when I did it. You can see photos on FaceBook: www.facebook.com/loveghana. 57 miles cycled in 4 hours and 4 minutes (not counting stops, so actual cycling time); total hills about 900 m (that's almost a munro).
A great big THANK YOU to everyone who has sponsored me - it will be so great to see what all that money can do in Ghana when we go next year.

I'm going to cycle around the Isle of Arran on or near 6th August 2011 (depending on the weather). It's a total of 57 miles, and it's quite hilly, so it will be hard work - plus I need to get back to where I started in time for the last ferry back!
So don't be shy - I need some serious encouragement!

Thanks very much. Remember how much further your donations go in Ghana.
Thanks, too, to everyone who has pledged money offline by writing on my sponsor forms (that's the 'Offline donations' figure).
