The NYC marathon last year was nothing short of magical! Thank you again for helping me raising over £1500 for Leukaemia Research (now known as Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research). This year I aim to go sub-3 hours in CHICAGO on 10.10.10! Lots of people tell me they are inspired by me (?!) but I know who inspires me, my Uncle Dave! I am once again dedicating my 26.2 miles of madness to Uncle Dave and his chosen charity; Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. This really means a lot to my uncle and our families. Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for all blood cancers. They invest in only the best research that brings the most benefit to patients. For their life-saving work to continue, they need to raise over £20million every year.
