"Hi, I am particpating in a special event to raise valuable funds for a very special cause.
A number of us in Unilever are committed to completing the 3 peaks challenge in aid of Save The Family from May 21st to May 23rd, 2010. The 3 peaks are Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell in the English Lakes and Snowdon in North Wales.
Not only is walking something I really enjoy but to do this in support of a charity that keeps homeless families together in tough times seems to me to be especially worthwhile.
My target for fundraising is £100 or over. Unilever will match, pound for pound, everything I raise over that amount.

About Save The Family:-
If a family is made homeless, local authorities have a legal commitment to ensure any children are safe which means children are often taken into care. Save The Family avoids this by keeping homeless families together. Save The Family is based in North Wales and is the largest homeless families charity in the UK, providing homes in a village community for up to twenty four families. Save The Family is the only charity that houses, retrains and gives whole families the necessary emotional and practical support to help them move on.
