Mental Health UK is here for anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We are made up of four organisations based in each of the four nations of the UK, working together to improve mental health.

Story

July 2016 I gave in to my brain and sought help for mental health issues. The Doctor advised I have issues with anxiety and feeling low. After 6 weeks off and an online course for support I got back to working again. Since then I have had several low days, I have missed nights out, Stag weekends, probably lost some friends as well. But with the love and support of my family, friends and colleagues I have had a fantastic year in so many ways, and honesty feel as good about myself as I ever have........not everyone has that around them, and that's why charities such as Mental Health UK are important to give people the option to reach out when in need. My employer is supporting them this year, and t support that I will be running....lets be honest as I just ran for the first time in 3 years on 12th September, Walking the Great Scottish Run to support their work. My target is £250, which with my Employer doubling all funds raised up to £500 will give enough to make a small difference to someones life that we may already know and love. If you cant give I understand, and any support you can give me the next few weeks will be much appreciated. Thanks
