Thank you for all the donations and encouragement. The grand total was £250 including those who gave directly to me.

The day proved to be warm and fine with good views from the top of the tower. In the event I was the third contender to go down - the other two were somewhat nervous and therefore eager to get the job done !

Despite my slight lack of technique on the lower reaches of the tower I throughly enjoyed the descent - it seemed all to brief but exhilerating nevertheless.
