Many of you will remember that last year I took part in the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere for the 'Bottoms Up Appeal'

This year I have entered the British Gas Great East Swim, to raise money for St Andrews Hospice in Grimsby.

Great East Swim takes place on Saturday June 19th 2010 at Alton Water in Suffolk. It is an open water swim over a distance of one mile.

Last year I swam the mile in 46mins, this year I am going to beat that.

St Andrews do a fantastic job but rely heavily on donations, so please give what you can to help me achieve my target of £500
