<p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</strong></span></p> <p>As you will all know, the Bupa Great Manchester Run 2009 did not end particulary well for me.&nbsp;</p> <p>I was left with a life threatening illness (that I still can't pronounce) that without the support of my loved ones, my amazing friends, my work collegues and the fantastic care I received from all the Intensive Care Team at Salford Royal, I would not be here today.</p> <p>I have been given a second chance and have overcome a very rough rollercoaster ride over the last 3 years however, I am taking to the streets again to try and give back a little something. (Please don't worry I had my trial run last year!)</p> <p>I will never be able to express how wonderful it feels for me to be able to take part in this momentous event. It will always make me reflect on how precious life is and how important the people are around you, especially in testing times.</p> <p>So please help me to raise as much money as I can for the hospital so that they can continue with their exceptional work to help others, just like they did for me.&nbsp;</p> <p>Thank you</p> <p>Steve</p>
