Story

My name is Stephen Ridley and I'm a musician. In the last 18 months one of my best friends and his mother both got diagnosed with Cancer. I wanted to do something to help.

I'm not a doctor, I'm not a researcher or a councillor, but I can play piano, so that's exactly what I'm going to do.

On Friday 5th July at 3pm, I am going to start playing a piano on the walkway by the River Thames (in front of the Tate Modern) for 24 hours non-stop. NON-STOP. That means no sleep, no rest, and a lot of intense cramps and aches. I will consume only the food and water that can be fed to me whilst playing.

Please come down and show you support, and please give generously through this portal. Together, with your help, we hopefully go a small way to making a big difference.

Thank you,
Stephen Ridley
