The Friends Of Cynthia Spencer Hospice is a registered charity and was formed in 1990 by a few individuals; all of whom had come into contact with the Hospice when their respective husbands, wives and close family members had been patients. Since our formation we have gone from strength to strength and do a tremendous amount of fund-raising ourselves. The three main aims of the charity are: * To raise funds to help with the provision of items which are not available via the N.H.S and to buy those much needed extras for our patients. * To give support to the medical staff and patients in any way we can. * To promote awareness in the local community. The charity’s costs are minimal and therefore the majority of the funds raised are spent on patient care.

Having completed 5 marathon's and an Ultra this year, i'm taking on the challenge of completing 3 Ultra's in 3 days,

The “Druid Challenge” Ridgeway Multistage Ultra
November 6^th– 8^th 2009 82 miles 3 days!

Aswell as hoping to complete this challenge i would also like to try and raise some money for a very worthy charity who do a lot of very good work for cancer sufferers and there families offering hours of support, both medically and emotionally.No matter how small the donation it will all be really appreciated.
