Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I DID IT!!

At the end of July I will be cycled John O' Groats to Lands End, a journey of some 900+ miles in the space of 10 days but the most I cycled in one day was 127 miles, which was very long day in the saddle...

To put this in context:

* Up until 2 months ago I hadn't cycled for years

* I had never cycled 100 miles in a day, ever!

The whole experience was incredible and is a real test of mental and physical abilities. I’ve done other endurance activities before, including marathons, but this was definitely the toughest yet and one that I won't be in a rush to repeat!

The charity I was cycling for the Dr Hawden Trust is a really worthwhile cause. The Dr Hawden Trust funds pioneering medical research using exclusively non-animal techniques into such diseases as epilepsy, cancer, meningitis, asthma, Multiple sclerosis, diabetes, drug testing, arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, lung injury, heart disease, fetal development and pregnancy, brain tumours and AIDS.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

All donations, no matter how big or small will be very much appreciated and will go towards a very worthwhile cause.
