I won’t be riding alone as I will be joining about 25 other riders all hoping to do the same. We will be supported on our ride by a firm called Peak Tours who are based in Glossop. They will act as guide for our group and also move our luggage between various B&Bs, leaving us free to concentrate on the riding. This will be a tough challenge for me because at the ripe old age of 59 years old I feel my better cycling days are now behind me, and although I am doing my best to be as fit as I can, I know that I can’t underestimate how hard this will be.

I have decided to try and raise money for the Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, and all proceeds will go to them. To send a child on holiday for a week costs about £330.00, and if I can raise £1000.00 that should be enough for 3 disadvantaged children to spend some quality time at the sea side. I hope you can support me on this worthwhile adventure and make a donation to me care of ‘Just giving’. Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks in anticipation for all generous donations given.

Yours with thanks Steve.
