BUPA Great North Run 2010 · 19 September 2010 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

So this is it... I've taken the plunge and decided that running 13 miles is something I want to do with my life. To help me along, I need your money! Well, more specifically the NSPCC do.

All it takes is a few quid from everyone I know and I can easily reach my target of £300!

The NSPCC hope to raise more than £150,000 from this years race to help end cruelty to children.
The money will go towards the running costs of their ChildLine, over 180 projects, research and their campaign to persuade the government to put children's issues at the top of the UK's political agenda.

£4 could answer a child's call to ChildLine.
£20 could buy dolls used in play therapy.
£85 could pay for the cost of counselling.
£250 could pay for 2 days of individual theraputic sessions.
£2000 could cover the cost of all the freephone calls to 1 ChildLine counsellor for 4 1/2 years!!

So please, get giving and I'll try my hardest in the race!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – They’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure you tick the "Gift Aid" button as tax is then reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity - Simples!

So please dig deep and donate now!!!
