!!!!!Update... I did it.....!!!!

Marathon then......Well, I had one of those list of things I needed to do before I reached 30. Unfortunately alot of them passed unaccomplished including running a marathon. However after a friend of mine mentioned that she would be running the Edinburgh Marathon it got me thinking better late than never.

I decided to enter this year and have so far been quite lucky avoiding injuries. I will be looking to do it in around 5 hours (really just hoping to complete it) and will be raising money for Cancer Research as I unfortunately lost two of my Grandparents fairly recently to the disease and hope that the money raised can help people affected and give them more time with their loved ones. It is one of those things that affects a lot of people and when you speak to people about it nearly everyone knows somebody who has been affected.
