Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

This February I'll be cycling 400km in five days from Mount Kenya to Lake Victoria for my charity Computer Aid International. I've been organising this trip for the last year and 16 people from the IT press and IT industry are taking part. I've also been getting up early to go to the gym and cycling around Cumbria all over Christmas (a dramatic change to my usual lifestyle and bloody cold!)

I know it's January and everyone's skint but please dig as deep as you can. All proceeds help Computer Aid give Kenyan children a better education by providing IT and training to their schools. Just £49 puts another PC on a school desk - giving 50 kids a better start in life.

As a thank you, you will be able to track my 'progress' and laugh at my pain from the comfort of your desk in the week beginning 5th February as ZDNet UK will be blogging the whole thing (link to follow).

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Computer Aid International will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now! Go on!

Many thanks for your support.
