I am supporting our DragonBoat team in raising money for Barnardos charity.

The money will go to the Gap homes and future place initiatives, which seek to make a lasting impact on the lives of the young people Barnardos are working with.

What are  Gap Homes?

These are transitional homes for care leavers, bridging the gap between supported living and independence for young people at their most vulnerable age.

What is future place?

This is a skills training academy which provides 16 - 25 year olds who have left the care system with high quality training, pastoral support and employment opportunities. Enabling young people to reach their full potential and create a positive future.
