Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you may know I, as part of a team from Geens, completed the famous 3 Peaks Challenge in 2005 and followed this up in 2008 by completing the Potteries Half Marathon raising over £20,000 for North Staffs Breast Care Unit and Cure Leukaemia.

In a moment of madness we have decided to enter 2 teams of 4 in the Snowdonia Charity Challenge which takes place on 6 July 2013.

The challenge involves all team members setting out from Llanberis and cycling a very hilly 40 miles around Snowdon, climbing Snowdon and canoeing a course on Llyn Gwynant – last year’s times ranged from 6 hours 3 mins to over 12 hours!!

Obviously I am doing this for fun and to get fit!! but we will also be raising funds for Regain, a charity which supports those paralysed through sporting injuries and locally for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice which provides care for those with terminal illness.

I hope that you feel able to support us for these very worthy causes.
