On May 30th 2011, I will be running the Bupa London 10000 10k race around the streets of our Nation's capital.

Once again I will be running for The Meningitis Trust. Meningitis can strike within hours and it's symptoms can be very difficult to identify. The effects can be devastating. 

My daughter Lucy had meningitis when she was only 3 weeks old. Despite some delayed developments and minor difficulties, we were very lucky she pulled through with no major or lasting disabilities.

In my previous 2 runs, I've raised over £1300 for the trust, thanks to you all. It would be great to push that figure a little higher wouldn't it?
