Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I will be attempting a massive challenge of running all 214 Wainwright Fells in the Lake District in around 7 days. This is about 320 miles with 36000m of ascent. That is two marathons a day and over 4 times up and down Ben Nevis every day.all over rough terrain. Details can be seen here:

The reason I am doing this is because my younger sister, Hilary, was diagnosed with MS about 10 years ago. It is hard seeing someone who has always been physically active having to be pushed round in a wheelchair, but Hilary is always positive when you see her and currently the condition seems to be fairly stable.

The MS society does a great job for people like Hilary with MS. This is done both nationally by providing information and support and investing in MS specialists  and also locally through its branch network..
