Story

Update 11th July 2011.

A massive thank you to everyone who sponsored me for yesterdays ride, great effort.

I completed 61.66 miles in 4h 37m, climbing a total of 3700 feet.

Thanks to Hobbit for looking after all 6 of us during the day, meeting us at all of the refreshment stops to ensure we had plenty of food and drink to help us through to the end. Also thanks to Frances for assisting with the driving duties, making sure we got to the start on time and home safe afterwards.

Massive thanks to the organisers, who made the day as easy as possible, great marshalling, refreshment stops and a proper finishing reception at the end. We all enjoyed the day so much we've already signed up for next years ride on 24th June 2012!

Again, thanks to all!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in the Capital to Coast bike ride on Sunday 10th July (also my 11th wedding anniversay!) to raise money for 3 very worthy causes. The ride covers 60 miles from Thames Ditton, Surrey to Hove, East Sussex. The 3 great charities are:

Norwood
Norwood is a leading UK charity supporting children and adults, coping with learning disabilities and social disadvantage, to reach their full potential in life. (Registered Charity No. 1059050)

Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Cystic Fibrosis is the UK''s most common life-threatening inherited disease. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK''s only national charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis. (Registered Charity No. 1079049)

Downs Syndrome Association
The Down’s Syndrome Association focuses on all aspects of living successfully with Down’s syndrome and aims to help its beneficiaries to live full and rewarding lives.  (Registered Charity No. 1061474)
