The reason for choosing to support Headway is that Michael, my Father-in- law, passed away 3 years ago which amongst other complications, was in no small part a result of a brain injury he had suffered over 20 years ago.  Headway helped to support my wife's family all those years ago and continues to do great work with individuals and their families who are dealing with the impact of a loved one with a brain injury.

Although this event will be a challenge for me it is in no way the same challenge that my wife's family have had to manage every day since the injury and every day since Michael passed away.
