Story

Hi Folks

It's time to dust off the old pumps once again and trundle my way around the Great North Run course.

This year I am running in aid of the Pituitary Foundation which is a cause that means a great deal to me and my family. While there are many excellent chairites supporting a wide range of great causes in the UK and beyond, there are very few that provide support to those suffering from brain illnesses or injuries. The Pituitary Foundation is one such organisation providing national support, information and advocacy for pituitary patients, their families, friends and carers. It really is a temendous charity which is deserving of support.

Given my customary lack of preparation for the big day, I am sure that the thought of your kind donations will provide the extra boost that I will need when my lungs are bursting and my legs wobbling.

For those of you hoping to catch a glimpse of me on TV, I'll be the fat, purple guy 49,000 places behind the skinny chap with the Kenyan or Ethiopian kit on.

Your kind donations, large or small, will be very gratefully received so thank you very much in advance for your help.

Best regards

Steve
