On the 1st-2nd September, two intrepid teams from Nationwide Building Society will attempt to set a new World Record for the longest game of Rounders in the history of the game - a full 24 hours a chucking, whacking and running.

The ambitious challenge will be the first time most of us have played rounders since our school days, so whilst we cannot claim our standard will be high, we will more than make up for it in enthusiasm.

We are naturally doing this to raise as much money as possible, for several wonderful charities.
