8 months today to the big trip, can't wait!

Hi Everyone!

I am climbing Mt Kililmanjaro in January 2012 in support of the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.

Everyone says I'm just a big kid at heart and thats very true I think.

Children are everything to me and I have two wonderful boys of my own and work with children every day, working on designs for childrens playgrounds and skate parks. I am so lucky to have children and to work with them, they really are the future!

When a child gets sick or fights an illness they always amaze me with the way they are so brave and sometimes put us adults to shame.

Children have inspired me to give something back and to stop loving myself and "Love Life" and to support these very brave boys and girls and the families that go through it with them.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides practicle and emotional support to families when their child has a life threatening or terminal illness. Immediate help is on hand through their eight teams of Family Support Workers operating from bases across the country.

I would be extremely grateful if you sponsored me in this challenging and life changing experiance on behalf of the Rainbow Trust.
