Sharon Foster passed away on 1st December 2008 aged 56, having only being diagnosed with lung cancer earlier that year. Sharon was amazingly brave during her illness and remained positive and cheerful till the end and we were all so very proud of her. Sharon had a heart of gold, always looking after everyone and putting others first,  Sharon was so incredibly special and loved very much by her family and friends and an inspiration to us all………………

 

In Sharons memory I wanted to give something back for all her generosity and kindness here my running career began……..
