At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page!

On Sunday 26/05 I managed to complete the 2013 Great Manchester Run with five work colleagues to raise money for charity.  Before the race, my main objectives were to finish before Christmas and still be standing at the end of it, so I was really pleased to cross the finishing line in just under an hour with the blood still pumping!  And with a bit of a sun tan too!

The money I have raised so far is going to The Alzheimer's Society because I know how important the charity's work is in the fight against dementia.  I'm hoping a few more generous people will donate over the coming few days now that I've endured the pain of the race!

Please continue to sponsor me if you can, as your donations can help the Alzheimer's Society beat dementia.  Thank you.
