Story
<p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">My Father Gerry passed away 22nd Nov 11 after a battle with a very aggressive form of Lung Cancer aged 62. He was a lovely man who made the most of his time in this world and is still very much missed by friends and family. Within hours of learning his diagnosis was terminal, a fabulous local</span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> organisation</span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial;"> </span><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;;">'</span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px; text-align: left;">EllenorLions Hospices'</span></span></span></strong></span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> offered him and the family unwavering practical, medical and emotional support up until the very end. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Of course many illnesses are incurable and this is part of life. But only after first hand exposure, did our family realise how precious it is to see a loved one be offered dignity and respect in their last weeks, days and hours. </span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The staff of this fabulous place asked for nothing, but sadly its survival is almost entirely reliant upon charity donations. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">I know the charity bell rings loud and often, but I will be honored if you are able to sponsor me. I wish to do something positive in memory of my Dad, which also benefits some very special and deserving people. No matter how little you are able to spare, every penny is important and help spur me on to train and hopefully complete the Zurich Marathon on April 22. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Thank you very much</span></p>
