<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>My wife Pauline went into hospital for a routine scan to detect what the doctor thought was gall stones, the scan showed a mass on her right kidney, a CT scan followed and two tumours were confirmed.</p> <p>A date was set for the middle of December for her to have the whole right kidney removed. The operation went well after a week in hospital she was able to come home.</p> <p>After a recent appiontment with the consultant we were told the operation has seemed to be a success. Pauline will be monitered over the coming years for early detection of any further cancer. Pauline is taking life easy and recovering well.</p> <p>I have entered the TGO Challenge, a Coast to Coast walk across Scotland run by TGO Magazine and outdoor clothing specialist RAB.
