It wasn't until after I agreed to join a team at work in doing this run that I was informed of the finer details; that we would be running in lederhosen.........and stopping regularly to do some Austrian type dance. Brilliant.
The charity I'm running for is "Steps" which a small national charity supporting children and adults affected by a lower limb condition. One member of our team has twin boys who were affected by Congenital Talipes EquinoVarus (clubfoot). After a series of operations over the years both boys lead normal lives as this condition is correctable, but clearly at the time it was a difficult time for all concerned and the charity was a great source of advice and support. So a worthy cause I thnik you'll find & all donations are very much appreciated.
