The Ride of Life is now an annual 100 kilometre bike ride that takes on the might of the Surrey Hills, starting and finishing at the research centre for the Institute of Cancer Research - and, to be clear, every penny raised goes directly to the research charity.

This Ride of Life (RoL) links through to and supports, the Climb of Life (CoL) which has been running for many years now under the faithful and skilled leadership of Graeme Chapman OBE and I am pleased to be supporting Graeme and the teams excellent hill walking efforts, with this inaugural event, the Ride of Life (ROL).
