To celebrate my 40th birthday I thought it was about time I set myself a decent physical challenge! John O'Groats to Lands End on two wheels has been something I have been eyeing up for a couple of years, and now the time is right to give it a go. I want to really push myself so the target is to complete the 900+ miles in 9 days! I will be starting out in Scotland on Thursday 23rd May and hope to make it to West Cornwall by Saturday 1st June. 

Dreamflight is my chosen charity who do an awesome job arranging once in a lifetime trips to Disneyland in Orlando for children who are seriously ill or have severe disabilities. After taking my two children to Eurodisney last year and watching them have an amazing time, I thought that it would be fantastic to try give another child who's life isn't always straight forward the opportunity to have a similar experience.
