OK, following the outstanding fund-raising success of the Fleet Half Marathon in March, which raised £1100 for Cancer Research, the next challenge is the Great Eastern Run Half Marathon on October 13th. 

This one is for Diabetes UK,; in 2003 my wonderful wife was diagnosed Type 1 Diabetic at the age of 32, seemingly out of the blue. It's been a steep learning curve since then so Diabetes UK is a cause definitely close to our hearts.

Hopefully this race will be a little more injury free in the build-up so I can do it a bit more justice than my snail-slow debut, but thanks in advance for your support :)
