AFK is a disability and neurodiversity charity providing support to children and young people across the UK. We assist young people in accessing specialised mobility equipment that isn't available on the NHS and routes to paid employment in an effort to close the disability employment gap.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My friend (Will) and I have decided to cycle from London to Paris for a life affirming experience. The trip is around 260 miles.

We will be starting at Big Ben and Finishing at the Eiffel Tower (Hopefully!)

We are doing this very much on a whim and have asked for no help from anybody, especially Action for Kids. However, I feel this is a great opportunity to do something worthwhile for a fantastic charity.

The trip will take three days. Leaving on Saturday 22nd August

Day 1: London to Portsmouth (ferry from Portsmouth to Le Harve)

Day 2: Le Harve - Rouen

Day 3: Rouen - Paris

Action for Kids is great charity and a very worthy cause. Please visit their website and see a little about what they do.

If everyone I know only gives £1...then we won't raise enough money, so please dig deep.

Thank you so much!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
