We at Miller and Co(Insurance Brokers)Ltd. send an E-card at Christmas, choosing to donate the money saved on the cost of the cards and postage stamps, to a charity .

This year we are supporting The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Childrens Fund , which was founded by a friend of mine, Francis Dunnery ( The lead singer and guitarist from the 80's rock band 'It Bites', who had a hit with 'Calling All The Heroes ') and who is pictured above with Ann and I.

Francis continues his musical career in a quieter way these days, preferring to perfom House Concerts in peoples homes around the world. I was lucky enough to have Francis at my house last year for what was a memorable evening for everyone who attended. He also spends a great deal of time helping and promoting up and coming musicians

An extremely warm and generous person and reflecting on his own life's experiences, Francis set up ' The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Childrens Fund'  (in memory of his late parents)  with the aim of helping genuinely needy children.
