Story

Friends, Work Colleagues, Old Work Mates, Sky Velo Buddies & Family,

Next month I'm riding the 3rd leg of The Dallaglio & Flintoff Cycle Slam (www.dallaglioflintoff2012.com) and proud to be raising funds for Cancer Research (to fight Prostate Cancer) and the Andrew Flintoff Foundation. I’d really value your help (no matter how large or small) in helping me reach a fundraising target of 3k.

The leg I’m riding follows a 560km route through Northern Italy over 5 days (www.dallaglioflintoff2012.com/stage3) including 7,000 metres of climbing. And to add a bit of extra spice I’m pledging to ride an extra 50km per day to prove this isn’t a glorified excuse for a bike ride. In fact I’m open to all offers if it means raising a few extra bob, bar riding naked. If I could ride all 5 legs of the 3,000k route I would, but I need to work and be there for my long-suffering bike widow of a girlfriend Joanna.

The charities being supported are very worthy ones. Prostate Cancer seems to strike many family & friends as we get older, so I’m especially please to be supporting the Dallaglio Foundation raise funds for a Cancer Research project into prostate cancer genetics.

Thanks for your help.

Steve
