I've been inspired to have a go at a sprint triathlon and raise money towards Cancer Research UK.

My brother-in-law-to-be has had a crap year.  His mum has passed away, he's been helping his Dad through some difficult times and, to cap it all, he has had to battle his way through cancer himself.

He's come through it thankfully but, instead of taking it easy, he's doing a triathlon.  I can't think of a decent excuse (believe me I've tried) not to join in and, if you are kind enough to sponsor me, you'll help make sure that I don't dip out before the event.
